IIT Mandi VS Deshbandhu College

From first to fourth year, IIT Mandi offers a unique curriculum that includes real-world design projects. Students from many branches collaborate in teams. Students in their first and second years indulge in assignments that are generally completed in third and fourth years at other B.Tech colleges. IIT Mandi provides a congenial atmosphere with instructors and students mixing. During any discrepancy, candidates have easy access to faculty, Deans, and the Director. Yes, students can change their branch in IIT Mandi. To be considered for a branch change, the student must apply before the end of the second semester of their study. The applicant must state, in order of preference, the branch or branches to which they wish to make a change. Branch change applications will be evaluated strictly on merit, as determined by the CGPA of first-year courses. If a seat becomes available at any point during the process, it will be provided to the candidate with the highest CGPA.

Given that it is a government institution, Deshbandhu College fees are considerably lower than that of other colleges. The fees range from Rs 27,000 to Rs 45,000 approximately for the three-year-long courses.
