National Institute of Technology, Agartala, also known as NIT Agartala or NITA, is a government institute that was established in the year 1965. The institute is located in Agartala, Tripura, and was earlier known as Tripura Engineering College. It is approved by AICTE. As per NIRF 2024, NIT Agartala has been ranked 82nd under the Engineering category.

NIT Agartala courses are offered at the UG, PG, and doctoral levels. There are a total of 10 programmes offered in various streams such as Engineering, Management, Science, and Information Technology.
