GITAM Hyderabad Cutoff 2023

GITAM University Hyderabad campus of 1 acre offers a range of recreational facilities including a sports complex, library, gymnasium, common rooms, dining halls, a canteen, lecture halls, seminar rooms, a sports complex, a library, a sports centre and a cafeteria. There are separate hostels for girls and boys.

GITAM, Hyderabad Infrastructure

• GITAM University Hyderabad is a 1-acre campus located in Hyderabad, a city with a rich, green landscape embraced by nature. Students have the opportunity to live close to nature at the GITAM University Hyderabad.
• Several facilities are available on campus, including laboratories, lecture rooms, seminar halls, a library, a canteen, a sports complex, a cafeteria, and a host of other recreational venues. There are separate hostels for girls and boys, with a games room, gymnasium, common room and dining halls.

GITAM, Hyderabad Facilities

• Aerospace Lab: A low-speed subsonic wind tunnel (test section size 0.6 m x 0.6 m x 2 m) and a six-component balance system are used in the aerodynamics laboratory to determine the aerodynamic forces acting on various models and to view the flow field around the test model. Students can acquaint themselves with the aerodynamic behaviour of the test models in the laboratory. The researchers can also use this facility to conduct their experiments.
• NDT and Concrete Technology: Students can evaluate the qualities of fresh and cured concrete materials in the concrete technology lab. This lab makes it possible to undertake both destructive and non-destructive concrete testing. This lab is primarily concerned with the creation of specific concrete, the use of mineral admixtures, the recycling of building waste, and the behaviour of concrete at high temperatures. The lab, which is equipped with modern instruments, provides material consulting services to a variety of government and non-government organizations.
• Auditorium: Several campus activities, including meetings, workshops, presentations, panel discussions, and interactive sessions are held in the auditorium. Seminar halls are also available for events, meetings, workshops, presentations, and panel discussions. 
• Cafeteria: At the institute, a well-furnished cafeteria provides clean and well-ventilated facilities in which hygienically good food is prepared. The canteen provides tasty and nutritious food at reasonable rates. 

At GITAM University Hyderabad scholarships are provided on the basis of merit of students.

Merit-based Scholarships

1. It is recommended that students enrol for GITAM Admission Test (GAT) and attend the counselling for admission as scheduled to be considered for scholarships granted through different National/State Entrance Tests.
2. If a student qualifies for a scholarship in more than one area as a result of the GAT/National/State Entrance Tests. In that situation, they will receive the scholarship with the greatest percentage.
3. The GAT/National/State Entrance Tests scholarship is only valid for the first year. The same scholarship will be offered in succeeding years of study if the student achieves a CGPA of 8.5 or higher or a CGPA of 8.0 or higher. The grant will then be available to the student.
4. The scholarship does not apply to students who have failed or achieved the minimum CGPA through betterment in that particular year. Any student who completes the minimum CGPA through recounting would be eligible for the scholarship.

Need-Based Scholarship

Candidates who are enrolled through merit scholarships in the slabs of 75%, 50%, 25%, and 15% and whose parents' combined income is within the statutory limitations are eligible for an extra need-based scholarship.
