KL University Guntur — Regular, Fees and Admission 2026

KL University, formerly known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering, and Koneru Lakshmaiah University was established in 1980 as KL College of Engineering. Its campus is over 100 acres of land in Green Fields, Vaddeswaram Andhra Pradesh. It is recognised by the UGC and has received an A++ grade from NAAC. As per the rankings, Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation University (K L College of Engineering) has achieved an NIRF rank of 35 in the Engineering category with a score of 58.95. The institute has also secured an NIRF rank of 70 in the Management category with a score of 49.89.

KL University's course list comprises undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses across many streams like management, accounting, philosophy, and others. The courses are offered in distance mode as well. KL University Guntur admission is offered both based on merit and based on entrance exams like JEE Main/Advanced/EAMCET for B.Tech, NATA for B.Arch, KLUMAT/ICET for MBA, and so on. University facilities include all the requirements for the holistic development of its students. The classrooms are technologically advanced, along with well-equipped laboratories. The placement cell works throughout the year for the betterment of the students so that they can get job offers from their chosen companies. A total of 400 organisations participated in the KL University placement drive 2024, wherein the average package offered was Rs 7.8 LPA. 

KL University Guntur Highlight 

As per the last year reports, the highest package offered for B.Tech is Rs 60 LPA. For MBA, it was recorded at Rs 12 LPA. A total of 2563 students were placed in KL University Guntur placement of 2024. A total of 400 companies visited the campus and 4,000 offers were made.
